We’re proud to share that our co-founder and CEO, Ozzie Godinez, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago. This appointment reflects Ozzie’s ongoing commitment to making a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
As a first-generation Mexican American and a Chicago native, Ozzie has always championed diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility—values that are deeply embedded in PACO’s DNA. Since co-founding PACO Collective in 2006, he has led the agency’s growth from a two-person startup to a nationally recognized multicultural marketing agency. His leadership has driven culturally relevant and purpose-driven campaigns for brands such as BMO, ComEd/Exelon, Takeda, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cargill, and the Chicago White Sox.
Beyond the industry, Ozzie is passionate about giving back. He serves on several boards focused on education, social justice, and youth development. His dedication also extends to PACOmmunity, our agency’s formal volunteer initiative that empowers our team to support organizations like Cradles to Crayons, Junior Achievement, and Casa Central.
“We are delighted to welcome Ozzie to the Board of Directors for the Greater Chicago Chapter of the Red Cross,” said Catherine Rabenstine, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross of Illinois. “His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to our humanitarian mission will be invaluable as we work together to provide comfort, relief, and hope to those impacted by disasters and emergencies.”
At PACO, we believe in the power of action and advocacy. We’re excited to see the impact Ozzie will make in his new role, reinforcing our mission of creating a more inclusive and empowered world—both in marketing and in the communities we serve. Go Ozzie!
